Next release preview – Lizardmen of Falgor
The next set will bring to life the Lizardmen of Falgor, a cold-blooded, guerrilla breed of lizardfolk that thrives in the steaming swamps of Falgor, in the southern wilds of Rotvar.
Unlike their thick-built cousins, the Frostheart Lizardmen of Skutagaard, these greenish swamp-dwellers are more agile and iguana-like in shape – though still tough and dangerous.
They rely on ambush tactics, striking from the mists with barbed bone falchions, throwing javelins, and shields crafted from the shells of the Turtlekin.
Savage, territorial, and silent as the reeds, the Lizardmen of Falgor are born hunters – and their prey is anything that moves. While the males have their back covered in purple colored spikes, the females have prominent crest along their back, making the Falgor Lizardmen easy to distinguish.
While the Goldmaw Lizards of the south build golden temples and follow sun-priests and blood rituals, the Falgor breed rejects all civilization.
They see the Goldmaw as decadent and weak, soft-scaled imitators of man.
Between their kind runs an ancient hatred, carved in bone and remembered in blood.
Although rarely seen cooperating with other races, tales speak of roving warbands made of Hobgoblins, Falgor Lizardmen, and even Gnolls, gathered under the banners of ambitious bandit lords or outlawed sorcerers.
These unlikely alliances are forged by gold, fear, and ancient pacts — and when they strike, they leave only smoke, mud, and bones behind.
