You asked for more Beastmen ever since our first set of Gobor (goatmen), and I couldn't wait to work on more of them!
Say hello to the newest force joining their ranks: the Half Gobors!
Built like satyrs, the Half Gobors inherit the horns and shaggy legs of the Gobor, while their faces are more humanoid, although still twisted and corrupted.
These new Beastmen light troops make excellent skirmishers. They wield bows, axes, maces, and spears, but thanks to our wrist ball-joint system they are compatible with every human-sized weapon in our range, including those from the Fighter's Guild Vanguard, last month's Coast Reavers, and many more.
And for the first time ever, the Beastmen have mounts!
These moss-covered brutes, with their old-school look, massive shaggy humps, twisted horns, and razor-sharp, definitely non-herbivorous teeth, are fully compatible with every Artisan Guild rider we've released over the years. Thanks to the same modular system, these Half Gobor riders can also ride virtually any mount we've sculpted in the past.
Of course, no army would be complete without two over-the-top heroes, and this month we went full heavy metal. Meet Brakloth Two-Tongues, the two-headed warlord, and the cunning shaman Bulgrabas, also known as the Skull Merchant. Could he be the one supplying Mundus' black market with its endless collection of trophy skulls?
For the Epic Boss, I finally brought to life a concept sketch I created last year and had been wanting to sculpt ever since. A gigantic mutant Beastman, the first of his kind. Habobish is the first known hybrid between a Gobor and a human, an unstable creature blessed, or perhaps cursed, with colossal strength.
Here you can see his original version on the left, wielding a massive two-handed axe, and on the right his Guildhall Exclusive version, transformed into a fearsome cyclops fighting with a gigantic runic menhir. For those who may not know, this version is exclusive to supporters on Guildhall, our main membership platform available through the Artisan Guild website.
I'd like to thank all of you, both for your incredible support and for asking for another Beastmen set over the past few months. Working on this collection has been an absolute blast, and I can't wait to see your new Half Gobors on the tabletop!
